Rainy Days and Mondays
It is finally a gloomy day here...typical of what everyone says English weather is like. I don't mind it one bit though. As my friend Phil says, "It washes the cobwebs away." Kate and I stayed in and watched movies last night. We watched Legends of the Fall...which I HATE because it just follows the downfall of a family and Brad Pitt playes a complete jerk.
Stef called me last night to see if I still wanted to come visit her in Darington...I'll be on a train on Wednesday to go visit her. We might even make a trip up to Newcastle. Stef if awesome...I really wish she went to Kentucky because she'd be great fun to have around. She's one of my best friends here...we can be stupid and goofy together, or completely serious. Either way, I love her company. I can't wait to spend some time with her. It's less than a month now that I'll be going to Italy and then coming home.
I think the thing that scares me the most is that I'll go back to Lexington and forget about all this as I slip into my old routine. I've really grown as a person here, and I'm hoping to get a fresh start in Lex when I get home. There are so many things I want to do when I get home. I do feel like a different girl than I was that cold day in January when I got on a plane to come here. I just don't want to digress from the person I've become.
