Proud to be an Amerikan
I was watching German MTV earlier and THAT is how they spelled the name of my country. I was pissed.
My flatmate's boyfriend, Phil, asked if I'd like to come along this Tuesday to see his band play in London...it's apparently a festival or something so I might have a good time. Either way, it won't be bloody Preston.
I've spent some of the evening decorating my room with pics from mags that I've gotten. I've got a ton of bands from Drive-Thru Records up...Something Corporate, The Starting Line, etc. They make me happy. Ella, Rachael, Janine, and their friends just left a few minutes ago to go to the Warehouse...an indie bar. They asked me to go, but I'd rather just sit in my room and post blogs and listen to sappy emo. I've been daydreaming of Starbucks all day. I think Yadira and Jess are still at the Student Union drinking pints. I left at 7pm...it's now 11pm and I havn't seen them yet. *scratches head in wonderment*
I'm thinking of going to Manchester tomorrow just to see whatever interesting is there. Maybe that will take my mind off things. I'm getting really sick and tired of Chris telling me that he'll call and he never does. How like a boy is that? What a bunch of bunk. 5,000 miles and here I am...

London Bridge is Falling Down
Yadira, Jess, and I are going into town in a minute...I've got a few errands to run and then we're going to get information on a trip to York. We spent a night reading up on English towns and cities and York sounded cool enough for a trip over a weekend. It's a really overcast day here, but luckily, not freezing cold. I keep thinking of things that I left at home that I wish I could have...ggrrrr...

The Revalation of Scary Mary
I've got a really awesome flatmate named Yadira, and she and I went to sign up for the trips with the International Society. I'm going to be in Paris for Valentine's Day and Dublin for St. Patrick's Day. I don't think it can get much more appropriate than that. I finally had some good coffee today. I've had too much beer and not enough sleep. My body is not used to this party all the time routine. I'm staying in tonight to recuperate and get some work done.
There are several bars here that everyone goes to on specific nights of the week. Everyone seems to know which night where the best place is. It's still a shock to me that I am old enough here to buy alcohol.
I miss you guys back home and can't wait to see you.
