*tuesday morning blues*
I woke up this morning to the sound of rain hitting my window. It's fairly cold and extremely windy in Lexington today...not great weather to be on campus. I drove in listening to some Boxcar Racer...I hadn't heard them in ages. Some of the songs on that CD make me remember stuff that happened a long time ago...things I'd rather not remember. Still, it's a really great CD and worth a listen.
I'm going to be working at the newspaper all day inbetween classes...

*superbowl sunday
This weekend last year, I was wandering around London with a boy from Tennessee and a few English kids. A year later, I am getting ready to go watch the Superbowl with my church group. I really don't feel any partiality between the Patriots and Panthers, but I guess I'll cheer for the Patriots since I'm such a Yankee!
I made a cake and some sugar cookies and am so ready to watch some football that I can't stand it! Today always reminds me of the Superbowls I spent with Valarie at First Baptist Paducah...for some reason it always feels like a church holiday. I hope that wherever you are and whomever you are with, that you are smiling...
