American by birth, Italian at heart...
I have no clue how to describe Tuscany to you. Florence is my fave so far...Rome was cool with its history, but this place is just gorgeous...The pasta is divine, the Chianti wine mindblowing. Kate and I are so happy to be here. Days like today remind me wny I came overseas in the first place. We've spent the day checking out the ancient abodes of the Medici family of Florence and walking around the churches, monuments, and markings. Some Italian boys at a table near us at lunch even asked if they could have a picture with me! They were very sweet and trying their English out on me...too cute! Italian boys rule!
Next stop will be Nice, then Barcelona. I can see myself living here in Florence for 2 years or so and just writing my little heart out and publishing an insiders guide to the city. I've been writing an average of 5 pages in my journal every day. It's insane. I'll sign off for now...it's time to go get dressed up, eat dinner, and then stroll around in the last of the sunshine eating ice cream and writing in my journal! VIVA FRIENZE!
