the great pumpkin
I hit up 3 parties last night and made a quick stop at the HO with Kathryn, Mike, and JR. We saw some very interesting costumes including:
*a guy in long johns, cowboy boots, and cowboy hat with a sheep taped to his crotch
*a sears repairman
*all 4 of the Ninja Turtues
*a guy dressed as a trucker
*the Trix rabbit
*Ashton Kutcher and Avril Lavigne (that was me and Kat)
*a streaker in a rain coat...they really were naked
All in all, it was a good night. Definately better than last year. We all ended up in Mike's 2nd floor room of his huge old house with squeaky stairs on Ayelsford Ct. We sat up there for hours talking about all the stuff college kids talk about...and decided to meet up on Thursday to exorcise the demons of our lost loves. I can't give many more details about the festivities, but it involves ritualistic exorcisms from the heart and mind. God bless halloween and the great pumpkin!

i hate this week
This week has made me feel like I'm about 30 years old and I don't like that feeling. It's Thursday night and I'm taking the night off. I've still got work to do but i don't really care at this point. I'm spending the night with Mike and his Hard LEMONADE!

After defending Christianity and western civilization to my women's studies class a few minutes ago, I have decided to make a pit stop into Starbucks for a Mocha. I think I've earned my drug for the day. It's a little annoying sometimes how closed minded liberals can be...if that makes any sense. Some people are so quick to roll their eyes and blame everyone but themselves; it's a little annoying.
I went to bed at 9 last night. I was too exhausted to be awake. I remember waking up at 1 a.m. to check the clock and thinking that my night had just been beginning a day before. I've become quite the night owl lately and need to break the habit.
I'm so looking forward to Thanksgiving. I'll be giving thanks this year that it's almost time to kiss the University of Kentucky goodbye forever. I'm very weary of going to classes and having to read so much and write so many boring papers.
It will be a joy to have my diploma in my hand. After that, I'm taking over the world...one chocolate bar at a time!
