Wildcat Country
So I'm home. I'm really happy to be in Lexington, especially since I just moved into my new house. It's about 3 miles from campus which means that I'll be driving in to class every day, but it's worth it. My house is in a really nice neighborhood in Tates Creek, and I love it here. We're still getting settled in from our Saturday move. It's been a whirlwind between classes, work and moving, but I'm not dead yet!
I left most of my decorative stuff back at home, so my room still looks pretty bare. It'll come together.
I'm registered for classes and excited about starting back this fall, even though I know it'll be a challenge. I'll have some pretty hard classes but I guess that's just as I'm a Senior now! I want to wish Kelly Demaree good luck on her GMAT. I know you can smoke it, Kelly. Smoke it like a bandit.
Lexington doesn't seem so boring to me anymore. I guess after living in England for so long, it should seem like freaking paradise. I've been putting up my pictures from Europe...the ones of me next to the tower of Pisa...the canals of Venice...the Duomo of Florence...the Vatican in Rome. It all seems like so long ago. It seems like it never happened. I've been all over the place, and now all I have are these pictures and memories. I'm so glad I went though. It changed me for the better.
Now that I'm back though, I'm wondering how this will all pan out. Who will call? Who will I answer? What does God have in store for me now that I'm home? I'm not sure of all that, but I sure am thankful that I have such great roommates and friends to come home to. I love you guys.
