I just had the most amazing night with the UK women's chorus. We had our yearly retreat at Calvary Baptist Church...90 plus women singing, dancing, and spending time together. I love this choir. I love the girls in it and their absolute passion for the music that we sing...their hearts for friendship and their ability to find that one girl in the corner who is new and doesn't know anyone and transform her into a silly singing dancing friend.
We specifically spent some time on a song tonight called "i thank you God" by e.e.cummings. I want to share the words of it with you, whomever you are, and let you have a little bit of the joy we feel when we sing it with goosebumps and tears.

i thank you God for most this amazing day

*tuesday morning blues*
Sitting in the Kernel again working on some stuff for the Entertainment Guide. I'm beginning to feel like graduation will never actually happen. It's warming up a bit outside, which makes me really nostalgic for the summer and being out of class.
I've been so busy lately, weekends inclued, that I feel like stopping even for a second would result in an entire collapse of my life. If any hour of my life were ever any different than it is, the whole works would come to a grinding hault.
For now, I'll just listen to the Foo Fighters at my desk and try to keep my head on straight.
