*one week of class left*
I wrote the last paper of my college career last night, and I must say that it felt really good.
After, to celebrate, my friend Gus took me to McCarthy's for a pint and we drove to Georgetown so I could meet his roommate. Gus is frigging crazy, I swear. One of those guys I can't figure out...very funny though.
I've got formal tomorrow in Cincy with Figgins...I'm trying to mentally prepare. I've got quite a lot to do before then, so it's going to be loads of fun getting ready. The dress I'm wearing is going to be knockout...to the floor aqua blue with sequins. It's pimp.
Apparently 20 people have read this page since I checked it last night...
why not just e-mail me?
Chances are I'd reply...

*transition time*
News you can use! I found out today that I was voted "Best Kernel Writer of 2004" by the students at UK. How cool is that? It makes me feel really wonderful to know that people actually read and enjoy the things I write...also because we have such a huge staff and they remembered my name out of all those people. It's an honor.
My last spring concert was tonight...I got a rose and was recognized as a senior and I cried and everything. It was really tough to think that that would be the last time that I would be singing with that wonderful group of women. The music will always be in my heart.
I have an interview at the local newspaper tomorrow, so wish me luck. I'm hoping they are wowed by my personality and portfolio and want to take me on as an entertainment beat writer. That would be such a nice place to start.
Definately read the Kernel tomorrow or check it out online at kykernel.com as I will have an article published that is really cute and fuzzy.
Thanks for reading about my silly little life and keeping up with me for so long. It's nice to be able to have a place to vent at the end of the day about whatever happens to be going on with me. I can't wait till my family gets here for my graduation and things are all nice and wrapped up with my school work and I can get on with things. I feel so thankful that I have been given such a great opportunity to get an education and gradutate with a blank slate financially, emotionally, and in every other way. This will be a new start for me...carpe diem!
